Sourced figures: prices in the table carry their source and check month. Fees and fares change, and they are third-party figures, not our offers.

Komodo 3D2N cost cannot be read from a headline price alone, because the list of what is included changes from one seller to the next. Park charges may sit on top, and crew tips, hotels and drinks are often separate. Compare two prices only after their lists match. Published figures sit in the price table on this page.

What does a 3D2N price usually include?

Expect a pattern, not a rule. The lists quoted below show what some sellers include, and how much the details move. One supplier's listing on Viator, which is useful as an example of how these lists read though it showed as unavailable, included a shuttle, snorkel gear and a Komodo ranger. Another seller may leave any of those out.

Meals show the problem in miniature. Meal counts differ, and Seek Sophie, a booking platform, lists one more dinner than a Viator supplier does. The Viator supplier listed 2 breakfasts, 3 lunches and 2 dinners. That is one dinner's difference on trips with the same name, and you only see it if you count. Check your offer against Lonely Planet, which notes water top-ups on most boats and alcohol usually at extra cost.

The table sets two published lists side by side. "Not quoted" means this page does not quote that list on the item, so check the seller's own page. It does not mean the item is free or excluded.

What is usually left out?

Green Rinjani, an operator, excludes hotel, travel insurance, park entrance, a tentative Kalong sunset fee and crew tips from its 3-day shared tour. The Viator supplier excluded flights, hotel, snacks and drinks, and tipping. Read together, those two lists give you a sensible budget checklist even if your boat is neither of theirs: getting to Labuan Bajo, a hotel on at least one side of the trip, cover for the trip, and small spending aboard.

Tipping is the line the sources handle worst. They mention tips without giving any amount that can be relied on, so this page will not suggest one. What you can do is ask the seller whether tips are expected, whether they go to a shared pot, and whether cash is the only way to give them. Budget for it as a real line, since both example lists put it on your side of the bill.

How do park charges fit in?

Park charges are separate from the boat's own costs even when a seller bundles them. Antara reports the tariff under PP 36/2024 became mandatory on 30 October 2024 and that the foreign ticket covers trekking, wildlife watching and snorkelling. Kompas gives the ticket per person per day, which means the number of days you spend inside the park changes the total. Ask how many ticket days your programme needs.

Other lines can follow. Komodo Resort, an operator, lists conservation, harbour and ranger charges on top of the park ticket. Published estimates for the whole 3D2N also differ: Labuan Bajo Tourism gives one average and Green Rinjani lists a higher figure plus its tentative Kalong fee. The price table shows each of these with its source. Do not add those rows into a single total, because they come from different sellers and may overlap.

The sources also conflict on how you pay. Lonely Planet says park fees apply for each day and advises cash on arrival. Later press reports and operators describe advance online tickets. Treat the cash advice as older, and read the visitor quota page for how tickets and dates now interact.

Why do headline prices differ so much?

Partly because the numbers are not the same kind of number. The price table mixes marketplace starting prices, operator prices, operator estimates and a traveller-edited range on Wikivoyage. A "from" price is a floor, so the cabin and date you want may cost more. An operator's estimate for its own boat describes that boat alone. Averaging them produces a figure nobody is selling.

Labels add to the confusion. GetYourGuide marks some 3-day listings "All Fees" and leaves others unmarked, so two listings side by side may not cover the same charges. Even "All Fees" is worth a follow-up question, because a label on a listing is not a line-by-line statement of what you will be asked for on the day.

Boat and cabin explain much of the rest. A shared boat, a private cabin and a whole-boat charter are different products, and the boats page covers those differences. If you are comparing shared departures with charters, the open trip page is the better place to start.

To compare two offers fairly, take these steps in order:

  1. Copy both inclusion lists into one table, using the rows above.
  2. Price each missing item for the seller who leaves it out.
  3. Check that cabin type, deck and shared or private status match.
  4. Check that both cover the same number of ticket days.
  5. Compare the totals, and only then consider the boat itself.

Price is easier to weigh once you know what the format holds, which our Komodo 3 days 2 nights overview sets out.

What can move the Komodo 3D2N cost after booking?

A price can shift between the listing and the day you sail. CNN Indonesia reported that non-subsidised fuel rose in June 2026 and that at least one speedboat owner raised charter rates. That was one owner's example, not a sector-wide figure, but it shows where pressure comes from. Fees marked tentative, such as the Kalong line, are another obvious place for a change.

The protection is in the wording of your offer. Ask whether the total is fixed once you pay, which items could still be charged on board, and what happens if a park tariff changes before you travel. The booking checks page covers the terms to confirm before any money moves. If you request an offer through this desk, the fee, the price and the contracting company are stated in writing before you agree, and that written offer is the only thing that binds. A price also means little without its programme, so read it beside the Komodo 3D2N itinerary and the Komodo 3D2N route it describes.

Which published prices did we check?

Official fees and public third-party listings, each with its source and the month we checked it. These are not our prices or offers. Listings show starting prices that change often, operator figures are the operator's own, and what each price includes differs, so check the source before you rely on a figure.

What do readers ask about Komodo 3D2N prices?

How much is a Komodo 3D2N?

There is no single figure. The price table on this page shows starting prices, operator prices and a traveller-edited range, each with its source. Check what each one includes, because the rows do not describe the same product.

What is excluded on a Komodo 3D2N?

It depends on the seller. Green Rinjani excludes hotel, insurance, park entrance, a tentative Kalong fee and crew tips. One Viator supplier excluded flights, hotel, snacks and drinks, and tipping.

What does a Komodo boat trip include?

One Viator supplier included a shuttle, snorkel gear and a Komodo ranger; meals differ by seller. Water top-ups are common and alcohol is usually extra, Lonely Planet says.

How much should I tip Komodo crew?

The sources mention tips but give no amount that can be relied on, so we do not quote one. Ask the seller whether tips are expected and how they are shared among the crew.

How much money for Komodo 3D2N?

Start with the boat price, then add whichever of these it leaves out: park charges for each day, hotel nights, flights, insurance, drinks and tips. Carry some cash as well, since Green Rinjani's packing list includes it.

Does an All Fees label cover everything?

Not necessarily. GetYourGuide labels some 3-day listings All Fees and not others. Ask the supplier for a written list of what the label covers, including park tickets and any ranger or harbour charges.
